Rick Horton is a trial attorney concentrating his practice in personal injury matters, focusing on motor vehicle collisions, trucking collisions, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability and civil rights violations. Mr. Horton has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent rating (the highest level of professional excellence, 5.0 out of 5.0). He is licensed to practice in Arizona, Oklahoma and Missouri, and is admitted in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Horton received his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University where he was a member of the Baylor baseball team. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. After graduation, Mr. Horton primarily defended insurance companies in auto collision cases as well as premises liability cases having tried over 75 cases to a jury. His superior litigation skills earned the trust of insurance companies such as Allstate, Farmers, State Farm and Liberty Mutual. Preferring to represent individual victims as opposed to big companies, Mr. Horton now puts to use the experience he gained in representing big companies to work exclusively for injury accident victims in motor vehicle collisions, products liability, premises liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. For the past 25 years, Mr. Horton has been litigating complex issues of liability and damages in multiple states around the country having served as lead counsel in several high profile, catastrophic injury cases.
Along with his work as an attorney, Mr. Horton enjoys spending time with his wife, their horse and three dogs in the great outdoors of Arizona.
